Ruben has a new coach

Ruben (ATP-104) has a new coach. The German Philipp Petzschner (ATP D-92) will now accompany the Belgian.

Ruben put an end to the collaboration with Fred Hemmes before Roland Garros. He played some tournaments without a coach, but from Wimbledon on the German Petzschner will accompany him. Petzschner himself is still active on the doublse circuit, where he took the Wimbledon and US Open doubles titles.

Ruben and Petzschner won the Challenger tournaments of Mons and Eckental in 2015 and have known each other for years. "From now on Petzschner will follow me during the tournaments, which he will also play himself. I am very happy, we have known each other for years, he is motivated and I am sure he will be able to help me. He believes in me and certainly sees me returning to the top hundred", Ruben told the RTBF.
