Ruben (ATP-159) won his fifth challenger title of his career at the Koblenz Open. In the final he was too strong for German Nils Langer (ATP-357) in three sets.
In the final Ruben had to fight hard against the lower ranked Langer. The Belgian won the first set 6-4, but had to leave the second to the German 3-6. The final set was decided by a tiebreak, which Ruben clearly won 7-0. The match lasted a bit more than two hours.
This is the first challenger title for Ruben since his victory in Guadeloupe in 2015, and the fifth challenger title in his career.
