Ruben eases into second round at Charlottesville

Ruben (ATP-216) has easily qualified for the second round of the Challenger tournament in Charlottesville in the USA. He lost only three games.

Just like in the final of the Futures tournament in Burlingame Ruben had to face Irishman Sam Barry (ATP-291). The Belgian had no problems and won easily 6-1 and 6-2. In the second round Ruben will compete against the American third seed Bjorn Frantangelo (ATP-110).

In the doubles, Ruben (ATP D-267) lost alongside Joris De Loore (ATP D-560) after a close match. The Belgians lost 6-4 6-7(7) and 8-10 against the American pair Austin Krajicek (ATP D-121) and Tennys Sandgren (ATP D-224).
