Ruben captures the first title since 2017 in Cherbourg

Ruben (ATP-232) has won the challenger tournament of Cherbourg (France, CH 100). In the final he was too strong for the Czech Lukas Rosol (ATP-198) in two sets.

After his doubles title last week in Quimper, Ruben was in excellent shape in singles this week. In the final he had to compete against the Czech Rosol. Ruben played a strong match and never had to give in his serve game. One break in each set was enough to win the final 6-4 and 6-4.

For Ruben, it is his first challenger title since 2017 and the sixth challenger title in his career.
