Ruben (ATP-154) has reached the semifinals of the challenger tournament in Drummondville in Canada. He defeated a French qualifier in an exciting match.
Ruben started the match well and won the first set against Gleb Sakharov (ATP-276) with 6-4. In the second set our compatriot came back after being broken, but the Frenchman won the tiebreak 6-7(5). The third was again decided by a tiebreak, which went 7-6(5) to Ruben.
In the battle for a ticket for the final Ruben will face the winner of the match between John-Patrick Smith (ATP-284) and Tim Puetz (ATP-597).
