After his title in Koblenz Ruben (ATP-159) is travelling to the challenger tournament Rennes, France. In the first round he faces a Frenchman. Ruben will play against the the 23-year-old Mathias Bourgue (ATP-176) in the first round. It is their first encounter. In the next round Ruben might face third seed Jozef Kovalik (ATP-110).

Ruben (ATP-159) won his fifth challenger title of his career at the Koblenz Open. In the final he was too strong for German Nils Langer (ATP-357) in three sets. In the final Ruben had to fight hard against the lower ranked Langer. The Belgian won the first set 6-4, but had to leave the second…
