Ruben (ATP-121) has qualified for the main draw of the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). In the first round he meets top seed Roger Federer (ATP-2).
In the decisive qualifying round Ruben had to compete against home player Tim Van Rijthoven (ATP-1314). Just like in his first match, the Belgian played a very strong match. Ruben won the encounter in two sets with 6-4 and 6-3. The match lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes.
On the main Ruben will face Swiss Federer, who is looking for the number one position in Rotterdam. They meet for the first time, their match is scheduled on Wednesday night.
